Cartier introduced the first watch of its kind, which runs on solar energy. The service life of such a mechanism is 16 years. The innovative model was supplemented with the Alstrap eco-strap. It consists of 40% processed vegetable raw materials, namely apple peel.

The Adidas brand announced its cooperation with Bolt Threads in the fall of 2020: Adidas planned to produce things from the material Mylo – a leather substitute based on fungal mycelium produced by Bolt Threads. Mushrooms make an ecological alternative to the skin without the use of plastic and other petroleum products.
